Wood imitations - Teak

Original teak comes from South-East Asia, but the tree (Tectona grandis) has been planted on a large scale in the tropics worldwide. Doing so caused a large variety of colour, weight, hardness etc in teak.
Untreated the wood has a light-brown colour that darkens when exposed to light and turns grey when exposed to the weather.
The grain pattern is usual fine and calm.
