Sycomore maple originates from Europe and North America. The wood is whitish to light yellow coloured, has a very fine grain and shows very beautiful drawings.
Maple is easy to work with and has already been used for centuries because of its light colour, strength and hardness, for instance in the music industry and veneer production.
